Sunday Crafternoon - Hans My Hedge Hog
This cute stuffed Hedge Hog project is all about the yarn and fiber. With seed stitch in bulky weight yarn this quick project also uses a strand of mohair/silk to add the fuzz that makes this stuffie so soft and squishable! Using US #10 needles this project is knit flat and sewn together. As a knit-along this project is not a class, but is beginner-friendly. We offer support in a group setting. Required skills include knit and purl stitches, and familiar with basic mattress stitch. Cost is purchase of kit - $15. Kits are provided on first day of Knit-along. Pattern is free to download. Two Sundays - February 2 from 1 to 3, finishes February 9. Max number of participants - 14.

This $5 downloadable pattern by “cheezombie” on Ravelry.com is our Sunday Crafternoon knit-along for February 16 and 23. This pattern that features multi-colored yarn and the use of double-pointed needles (this can be knit using magic loop method if you are confident with the technique). Required skills include knit stitch, decreases, increases, and the wrap-and-turn short row - this is not a class but there is support in this group setting. The kit is provided on the first day of the knit-along - includes worsted weight yarn in a multi-color for the body, and solids for the eyes and lips as well as stuffing for the body. Purchase the pattern separately or through Indigo Purls. Cost of knit-along is the cost of the kit - $15. Maximum participants - 14.
