About Us

Indigo Purls was born between two friendships and yarn shops in Olympia, WA coming together.

Michelle from The Black Sheep Yarn Boutique and Kerry from Jorstad Creek (now Jorstad Artisan Yarns) have joined forces to create a bigger, better yarn shop called Indigo Purls. We are a full service yarn shop featuring locally hand dyed yarns and high quality commercial yarns.

We have a large selection of hooks, needles, and notions. We also teach group classes and offer private lessons. We have a cozy crafting corner and guests are always welcome to bring their projects in and hang out. We strive to create a safe comfortable environment for all, where creativity and love of fiber arts can thrive.
