Beginning Knitting Series 3: Learn to Cable
In this class, students will expand beyond the basics of knit and purl stitches to learn how to make beautiful knitted cables. By the end of the class, students will be able to make a knitted cable washcloth.
This course is part of our beginning knitting series, where students can learn knit, purl, lace and cables.
Prerequisite: Students must know how to cast on, knit and purl.
Instructor: Cheryl
Length of Class: 2 hours
Supplies needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in a solid, light color (no dark blue, brown, black, or similar colors - we want you to be able to see what you're doing!).
- Size 7 or 8 knitting needles
- Cable Needle
- Cable Needle
- Pattern will be provided on the day of class
Optional, but highly recommended: row counter
