Sunday Crafternoons: The More You Gnome
This Scandinavian-looking gnome is knit in the round, with a jaunty slipped-stitch (mozaic) two-color hat, a very “gnomey” nose, and presents a Hygge vibe! This knit-along in two-sessions is a fun group project for knitters who want a very cute companion for their mantel or on their desk as a festive holiday decoration.
Dimensions are Height: 11” / 28 cm (9” / 23 cm without tassel)
Circumference: 10.75” / 27 cm
Materials:
$25 Kit to be purchased at the first session.
Kit Contains: 3 mini skeins m per 20 g skein; colors shown on the picture. Weighted stuffing like poly pellets/aquarium gravel/dried beans
Bring:
•Needles: US 1 / 2.25 mm and US 1.5 / 2.5 mm needles for knitting small circumference in the round, or size needed to get gauge
Note: if you are using magic loop, you will need an extra needle for the grafting. Kerry can help with learning to use DPNs but not magic loop.
•Notions: yarn needle, removable stitch markers, scrap yarn, crochet hook, your preferred stuffing.
