Remember the lovely Mountains Are Out cowl from our Spring PNW Yarn Crawl? We're doing a knit-a-long for it! This cowl makes a great gift for the holidays, or a cozy accessory for you to keep for yourself. Bring the Vashon you bought during the crawl to knit the cowl, or pick some new yarn. 

Materials needed: 

Two skeins of worsted weight yarn in two different colors. 
We recommend Vashon from Jorstad Artisan Yarns or Ultra Wool from Berocco. 
* Sample size used one skein for the main color and one skein for the contrast color. Cowl size is easily adjustable. You may need a second skein of your main color depending on how many repeats you want to add. 

24-inch circular needles, US 7 (4.5mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers and tapestry needle

Gauge:
4.5 sts/in colorwork pattern w/ Jorstad Vashon
* Exact gauge isn’t critical but it will change the size of your cowl and the yardage needed.
