Fabulous designer Vanessa Smith teaches this intricate cowl featuring luscious yarns from Indigo Purls or your yarn stash. Vanessa’s brilliant pattern uses a dazzling cable, texture stitches, and a grafting technique that makes this clever cowl a stand-out. Vanessa provides 6 hours of personal instruction in a group setting over three sessions at Indigo Purls. Three Saturdays, January 11, 18, and February 1 from 1 to 3.

Cost: $120 per student for 6 hours of instruction

• Pattern can be purchased through the store, on vanessasmithdesigns.com, or on Ravelry if you do not already have it. 
• You can purchase one skein of Iona Fingering or Iona Lace, and one skein of Isle of Skye (mohair/silk) or a Suri alpaca/silk laceweight at the shop, or you can supply your own yarn from stash.

Skills required: knit and purl stitch, some prior experience with cables, grafting is helpful. (Specific cables and grafting will be taught.) Not appropriate for a new knitter.
