April 26 10 - 12 Crafting for the Kitchen Coasters/Garland
This is the third in Sara’s Crafting for the Kitchen series. You will learn about how to wet-felt by knitting or crocheting these coasters that can also be used as motif’s for a cute garland for your kitchen window! We provide the feltable yarn in multiple colors and we provide the patterns for knit or crochet. Once felted, your coasters will be a cheery edition to your kitchen or side table. You will felt these at home or come back to Indigo Purls on May 31 and we will felt them together.
Cost: $40
Materials: Bring US size 8 and H hook. We will supply the patterns and feltable wool yarn.
Skills: Comfortable knitting in the round for the Java flowers, familiarity with decreasing in the round in knitting. Familiarity with crochet in the round from a center circle is helpful, comfortable with single and double crochet, and increases.
