Sunday Crafternoon Vintage Rabbit
Reserve your spot in this group knit. Make a vintage rabbit reminiscent of the Velveteen Rabbit from much-loved children's literature. Reservation is free, purchase of $25 kit is required on the day the project starts. Hand-dyed yarn will be provided in the kit in two colors, along with embroidery thread for the nose, material to stiffen the ears, and whiskers. You provide your favorite stuffing and safety eyes, if desired.
This project requires basic knitting skills, primarily using seed stitch to provide texture. Pieces require sewing together. The tail is made as a pompom.
Pieces are knit in ultrasoft worsted weight Vashon super wash, dyed by Jorstad Creek.
What to bring:
US #4 straight or circular needles.
Tapestry needle.
Stuffing.
Safety eyes if desired.
