Beginner Knitting II: Cables and Lace
Want to build on the basics and expand your knitting skills? This is the class for you! Learn to work beautiful cables and lace with Cheryl!
In this two-week course, we'll learn how to work cables and lace by making a cotton cable stitch washcloth on the first week, and a lace washcloth on the second. Students will learn the cable cross and increases and decreases in the lace portion. By the end of the class, they will be able to cable, yarn over, and knit two together. This class is suitable for an adventurous beginner to knitting. Must know how to cast on, knit and purl.

Length of Class: Two 2-hour sessions
Supplies needed:
- Worsted weight yarn in a solid, light color (no dark blue, brown, black or similar colors - we want you to be able to see what you're doing!).
- Size 8 knitting needles
- Pattern will be provided on the day of class
Optional, but recommended: row counter
