Christmas Stocking with Michelle
"Christmas Stockings" by Faye Kennington. This is a toe up and afterthought heel designed stocking. Students will learn Judy's Magic Cast-on as well as how to do an afterthought heel and Kitchener stitch.
The pattern includes 24 colorwork charts to mix and match so every design will be unique!
Yarn: This takes worsted weight yarn and 3 colors. UltraWool or Uptown Worsted are in-store options. One skein of each color (100g) is required.
Needles: 16" circular US 7, DPNs US 6.
Students purchase the yarn and pattern separately to allow for individual color choices. The pattern has a lot of pages, so printing it out at home is recommended. We can print it for a small fee.

The first class session is 3 hours, and the second class session is two hours to cover finishing.
The first class will be on November 15th from 1:00-4:00pm. The second class is TBD with class participants.
Students should be comfortable with stranded color work and knitting in the round.
