October Square of the Month - A Year in Granny Squares
Third Saturday mornings from 10 to noon we will meet to learn a new granny square pattern from the excellent book "A Year In Granny Squares" by Kylie Moleta. Maddy and Sara will teach students to make the square from kits we provide. Purchase of the book is required to participate, each month a new kit will be offered for the featured square. A student discount will be offered for purchase of the book.
As we get better at the techniques we will take on one of the fun projects from the book that uses the squares we are learning. Skilled instruction is provided. Students should have taken Crochet II, and/or the Battenberg Blanket class, or be familiar with single, double, treble crochet stitches, and magic loop.
Not appropriate for a complete beginner who has never crocheted before. However you can jump in at any month of the crochet year once you've learned the basics!
Sign up cost of $25 includes your yarn kit and instruction time. Book is purchased separately.
