Turkish Drop Spindle in two sessions
Learn to spin yarn using a Turkish Drop Spindle. Maddy will teach you the basics of using a drop spindle to make yarn, including fiber selection and type, how to "park and draft" as a beginner, how to put twist in your yarn, and how to wind the yarn onto your spindle once you've made it, and how to ply your yarn for greater durability and consistency. This is a fun class that provides an introduction to spinning without purchasing expensive equipment. Student spindles are provided as part of the class fee. Minimum three students to hold the class.
